Food is amazing but pricy. Service is ...me: "thank you." Girl at counter "yup!"..really??? "Yup, I know I'm so wonderful at my job and you're so lucky I charged you 30 for a kids sandwich and a slice of quiche??? " It's odd, every time I come back here it's because of the food reminding me of Vancouver cafe fare...but every time I go here, I also have a moment of wondering why the staff are so rude and act so entitled.

Thyme Cafe and Market is the neighborhood cafe that perfectly represents the Sunset Park neighborhood. With a broad selection of prepared foods in their display case alongside a concise menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I recommend their pretzel croissant breakfast sandwich, the three salad combination plate and any of their salmon dinner entrees. Don't forget to try anything from their impressive display of baked goods. Every one of their cookies is incredible!
